June 2023. In exercise of powers conferred by section 26A of the
Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 (23 of 1940), the Central Government prohibited
the manufacture for sale, sale or distribution for human use of following Fixed
Dose Combination medicines with immediate effect.

Banned Drugs
On 15/12/2017 the Honourable Supreme Court of India referred the Notification of the Central Government banning 349 Fixed Dose Combinations to the Drugs Technical Advisory Board, for re-examining.
